While the bone may still have its original shape, the wound isn’t gone, it’s just been reconnected with new bone material. The crack has been filled in with ‘scar tissue’ in bone format which doesn’t have the same structure as the original bone material. Because it’s not quite as well made it doesn’t handle stress in the exact same way. One thing it doesn’t do as well is expand where can u find bath bombs release air the same way as original material when the barometric pressure changes. That creates strain, strain impacts the tissue on the bone surface and that registers as low level pain in the nerves. Bone has a complicated internal structure but the repairs don’t, and aren’t quite as good.
